A phone call needs a few details. Here's what Vikki keeps, what it shares, and what you can control.
What Vikki stores
Vikki stores your account details, approved tasks, personal memory facts, and call-history text needed to run the service. Your account connects these records to you. Vikki does not store raw call audio.
Your personal memory
Private facts help Vikki answer questions and prepare tasks. Facts marked public may be retrieved during an outgoing call when relevant. Incoming answering has no access to saved memory and uses your greeting and answering instructions. Public means available to Vikki during a call, not published on the internet. Your call-facing name is always available to Vikki for introductions.
Calls and transcripts
Vikki processes speech to carry out your approved call and keeps a text transcript, call events, and the reported outcome with the task. Live transcripts can include partial text that changes as speech is recognized. The final call history is read-only.
Incoming call information
When answering is activated, Vikki stores your verified personal number, greeting, answering preferences, forwarding setup evidence, and incoming call history. The Inbox links to individual summaries and transcripts. Chat can recap your incoming calls. Verification challenges are short-lived; OTP codes are not stored. Before deleting your account, complete the forwarding turn-off guide if forwarding may still be installed.
Service providers
Vikki relies on service providers to sign you in, store app data, process speech, and connect calls. Those services receive the information needed for their role. The current app uses Google sign-in, Convex for app data, OpenAI for voice processing, and Telnyx for telephone connections.
How long data stays
Call transcripts are retained for 90 days by default. Chat history remains until you delete your Vikki account. Personal memory remains available for planning and calls according to the settings you choose.
Your controls
You can update or remove personal memory facts, choose which facts may be used on a call, cancel pending work, and end a live call. You can delete your Vikki data from Settings. Deleting your account also stops pending work associated with it.
